High school students at BCS have a great opportunity to take advantage of unique classes that God has brought to the school. One exciting example comes from the Bulverde/Spring Branch EMS. Through this partnership BCS seniors have the opportunity to take an EMT course and have access to the facilities cadaver lab for use in their Anatomy and Physiology class.
Well qualified teachers teach their subjects from a Christian perspective. The students are constantly challenged to put their faith in action by participating in ministries such as Students And Leaders Together (S.A.L.T. Program) and being involved in Service Projects for our school and the local community. They have been active with the Bulverde Food Pantry, Dig Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness, Provisions and other local ministries. They also have an opportunity to gain membership to NJHS/NHS and be elected to Student Council by their peers. In addition, they attend weekly Chapel, have daily Bible Class and daily devotions every morning (except on Chapel days).
