Position Description: Our mission at Bracken Christian School is to partner with Christian families through the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to provide an excellent education within the context of a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact their communities for Christ.

You will be responsible for preparing goals that actively engage students in activities, giving engaging instruction, and building strong relationships with students. You will know how to organize a class, make learning a meaningful and enjoyable process.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: 

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood development or related field from an accredited institution. 
• Alternately, a bachelor’s degree in a non related field from an accredited institution and a CDA;  a bachelor’s degree in a non related field from an accredited institution AND nine credit hours of college coursework in early childhood education/child development or related field; or a national or state level Director’s Credential.
• Holds (or be eligible to hold) a teaching certificate in early childhood education.
• Must maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience: 

• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony.
• Prior Christian school experience.
• Proven experience in a classroom.

Position Description: Our mission at Bracken Christian School is to partner with Christian families through the leadership and guidance of the Holy Spirit to provide an excellent education within the context of a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact their communities for Christ.

You will be responsible for preparing and advising programs and goals that actively engage students in activities, giving engaging instruction, and building strong relationships with students. You will know how to organize a class, make learning Spanish meaningful and an enjoyable process. You will be responsible for ensuring that deadlines are met in a timely manner.

You will be teaching Spanish II, 3 days a week M/W/F, 1 class. This is a hybrid class, lessons are prepared for in class and at home.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification: 

• Has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish or equivalent from an accredited college or university
• Holds (or be eligible to hold) a secondary teaching certificate
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience: 

• Proven experience as a middle school, high school, or college teacher.
• Speaks Spanish Fluently
• Strong Christian faith and personal testimony
• Prior Christian school experience.
