Learning with Innovation

At Bracken Christian School, we believe that technology is a powerful tool to enhance learning, spark creativity, and prepare students for the future. From Kindergarten through 12th grade, our students use devices and digital tools to support classroom instruction, develop critical skills, and explore new ways to learn, all within a safe, Christ-centered environment.

Elementary Technology

• Wee Warriors (K4–2nd Grade): Students do not receive individual devices. Classrooms are equipped with large touch panel screens and shared iPads, allowing teachers to deliver interactive lessons, educational games, and guided activities. These tools provide a safe and engaging way for young students to explore content without needing individual devices.
• Upper Elementary (3rd–5th Grade): Students are assigned class Chromebooks for use during the school day. These devices support activities such as spelling exercises, math games, and research projects. Chromebooks are used only in the classroom under teacher supervision and serve as supplemental tools to reinforce learning, not replacements for curriculum materials.
• All Elementary Classrooms (K4–5th Grade): Every classroom is equipped with smart touch panel screens, giving teachers the ability to deliver dynamic lessons and interactive learning experiences across all grade levels.

Middle & High School Technology

• Chromebooks for Students (6th–12th Grade): Every middle and high school student is assigned a Chromebook for use throughout the school year. These devices support research, homework, papers, note-taking, and Google Classroom assignments. Students may also take their Chromebooks home when needed.
• Device Purpose:  Technology in MS and HS is a supportive tool designed to enhance learning. Our Tech Team closely monitors devices to ensure safe and responsible use. Chromebooks supplement the curriculum but do not replace traditional lessons, textbooks, or classroom instruction.

Our goal is to provide a safe, monitored, and innovative environment where students can strengthen academic skills, explore new ideas, and prepare for a future where technology is a vital part of life and learning.

Our Technology Team is dedicated to protecting students online, monitoring activity closely, and taking immediate action to block inappropriate content whenever it is detected. Student safety is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and responsible digital learning environment for all Warriors.
