A Letter for the Bracken Christian School Board of Directors

Dear Bracken Families and Friends,

Welcome! The Bracken Board of Directors is honored to serve this wonderful community. Our deepest desire is to guide the school with Christ at the center of all we do, ensuring that every decision we make reflects our commitment to nurturing both the academic and spiritual growth of our students.

While we operate at a strategic level, our hearts are closely connected to the life of the school. We intentionally pray for our students, faculty, staff, and the entire Bracken family, asking God to guide our work and bless the community He has entrusted to us.

As a board, our responsibilities include hiring, reviewing, and supporting the Head of School, our only direct report, who manages the day-to-day operations, including faculty and staff. We also review and amend policies as needed to ensure they align with Bracken’s mission, and we approve the annual budget to maintain the school’s stability and ongoing success. Every decision we make is rooted in faith, guided by collective discernment, and focused on the long-term health of our school.

We hope this gives you a glimpse into our role and the care we take in supporting Bracken’s mission. Our prayer is that every child who walks through our doors experiences an environment where learning, faith, and character grow hand in hand.
