At Bracken Christian School, we are dedicated to raising Warriors for Christ, students who are strong in faith, courageous in character, and equipped to step boldly into their God-given calling.

Jesus is the heart and foundation of everything we do. We want our students to know Him personally, not just know about Him. When students are rooted in Christ, they thrive academically, socially, and spiritually, ready to grow into leaders who reflect His love in all they do.

Every student has a unique purpose, and it is our mission to help them discover it. Through a Christ-centered education, mentorship, and hands-on experiences, we give them the tools to pursue their gifts, embrace challenges, and rise to every opportunity.

Being a Warrior means looking beyond yourself. We call our students to develop hearts for others, living out their faith by serving their communities and glorifying the Lord through their actions, decisions, and character.

At Bracken Christian School, we are not just educating students, we are raising Warriors who will make a lasting impact for Christ, both now and for a lifetime.

Rooted in the truth of the Gospel, we believe every student has a unique calling. Our role is to help them discover that calling and equip them to pursue it with courage, faith, and joy. Because of Christ’s love, Bracken students are challenged to look beyond themselves and live out Matthew 22:37–39: Love Jesus. Love people.

Living out our Faith 

Worship is at the heart of life at Bracken Christian School. Students come together once a week for chapel, a time to deepen their relationship with the Lord and celebrate faith as a community. Each chapel is thoughtfully designed to be welcoming and age-appropriate, featuring local pastors, current students, alumni, and even fun, interactive moments that engage everyone.

For students who are musically inclined, we offer a Praise Team opportunity. Middle and high school students can audition to lead worship, helping guide the campus in praise during chapel and other special programs. This allows students to grow their musical gifts while serving and inspiring others in their walk with Christ.

Retreats

Each year, middle and high school students step away from daily routines to connect with God, build friendships, and grow in faith through worship, fellowship, and fun in the beautiful Texas countryside. Retreats provide a chance to start the school year with intention, playing hard, growing relationships, and spending meaningful time worshipping and studying the Bible together.

Middle and high school students attend retreat every fall, creating an intentional space to build community, deepen faith, and make lasting memories. Activities are designed to challenge students, strengthen bonds with peers, and help them experience Christ’s love in a personal and powerful way.

Baptism is also offered during retreats, giving students a life-changing opportunity to publicly celebrate their faith and commitment to Jesus. We cannot think of a better way to begin the year with our secondary students, combining fun, friendship, and faith in an unforgettable experience.

S.A.L.T. Program 

Bracken Christian School offers an incredible opportunity for our middle school and high school students to participate in S.A.L.T. | Servants And Leaders Together. | This unique program allows older Warriors to mentor and encourage our younger ones, sharing their lives, experiences, and Christlike compassion with our littlest Wee Warriors.

In Scripture, salt is a powerful symbol—representing covenant, friendship, and loyalty. In the same way, the Bracken S.A.L.T. Program creates lasting bonds across grade levels, rooted in love, compassion, and service to one another.

Each elementary class is partnered with a secondary class. Throughout the year, S.A.L.T. partners exchange gifts, write notes of encouragement, and share in special school events. Through these simple yet meaningful connections, students build relationships, feel valued, and experience the joy of true Christian community.

From weekly chapel and praise team to S.A.L.T. discipleship and unforgettable retreats, every opportunity is designed to help students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and live out His love and compassion in their everyday lives. We are passionate about equipping our Warriors to leave Bracken not only with knowledge and skills but with hearts fully rooted in Christ, ready to serve, lead, and shine His light in the world.
