Welcome to Pre-K4 | Our Wee Warriors!

At Bracken, our Pre-K4 program provides a Christ-centered, academic, and fun-filled learning experience for children who are 4 years old and 100% toilet trained. Our goal is to equip students to be academically, socially, and spiritually ready for kindergarten while nurturing a lifelong love of learning.

What Makes Our Pre-K4 Program Special:

Faith-Based Learning: Students grow in their relationship with Christ through daily classroom devotionals and chapel experiences.
Kinder-Ready Academics: Our curriculum builds foundational skills in literacy, language development, math, and early science.
STEM Exploration: Students engage in hands-on STEM activities to foster problem-solving, critical thinking, and curiosity.
Weekly Intro to Spanish: Our students are introduced to Spanish weekly, encouraging early language exposure and global awareness.
Active Learning & Enrichment: Music, dance, gross and fine motor development, and outdoor play help children explore and grow in a balanced, joyful environment.
Social & Emotional Growth: Our nurturing classrooms provide opportunities for children to develop confidence, friendship skills, and emotional intelligence.
We use play-based assessments through the ESGI platform to track growth and measure progress in early literacy, numeracy, and other key skills. Students complete a baseline assessment early in the year, followed by quarterly assessments to monitor development, with results shared during Parent-Teacher Conferences and on report cards.

Pre-K Readiness Checklist

We can’t wait to welcome your little one into Wee Warrior Nation, where learning, faith, and fun come together to prepare students for a bright, joyful start to their educational journey!

One Campus | Different Schedules

Every child learns differently, and at Bracken, we honor that. Families can choose between our Traditional Program, a 5-day classroom-based model, or our STREAM Program, which blends on-campus instruction with independent learning days at home. In addition, our BCS S.H.I.E.L.D. program provides added support for students with learning differences. All Bracken programs are fully accredited through ACSI and Cognia.

Students meet from 8:00 AM - 3:10 PM and must be potty trained before the first day of school. For more information about Bracken Kindergarten, please email [email protected].

After-School Care Program

The fun doesn’t have to stop at dismissal! Whether you’re a working parent or need a little extra time to make it back to campus, our After-School Care Program offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for students after the school day ends.

Hours & Availability

After-School Care is offered from the end of the school day until 5:30 P.M., Monday through Friday for K4–5th grade students whose families need coverage beyond regular school hours. Please note that care is not available on half days.

Billing & Check-In

Because elementary students dismiss at different times, billing begins at 3:30 P.M., the official program start time. Children arriving before 3:30 are billed from 3:30, and those arriving later are billed from their check-in time.

Registration Fee: $50 per student (one-time charge)
Hourly Rate: $10 per hour (charges are not prorated within the hour)

Snacks & Activities

Each day, a snack is provided at no additional cost, though families are welcome to send their own if they prefer. Students participate in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, depending on the weather. On very hot, cold, or rainy days, all activities take place indoors to keep students safe and comfortable.

Pick-Up Procedures

Parents may pick up their child from either the playground or the downstairs elementary hallway.

Late Pick-Up Policy

After-Care closes promptly at 5:30 P.M. A late pick-up fee of $5 per minute will be charged after this time.

Program Guidelines

After-Care is designed to support families who truly need childcare due to work commitments or unexpected circumstances. To keep the program running smoothly and ensure every child receives the best care, it is not intended for running errands or filling time during extracurricular activities. Students may not attend After-Care while an older sibling is participating in an after-school program, class, or practice.
