Middle School is where big ideas, bold growth, and exciting opportunities come to life! Our 6th–8th graders are learning who they are, exploring their strengths and talents, and stepping into greater personal responsibility—both academically and socially. At Bracken, we provide a Christ-centered environment where students grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally, preparing them to become the people God has created them to be.
At Bracken, middle school is more than just a bridge between elementary and high school—it’s a time for students to grow in confidence, independence, and faith. Our accredited teachers know each student, guiding them to succeed both inside and outside the classroom. With a seven-period day, students learn to manage their schedules, take ownership of their learning, and thrive in a Christ-centered community.
What sets Bracken Middle School apart:
All programs are fully ACSI and Cognia accredited, ensuring the highest standards of Christian education.
Middle School students have the opportunity to explore a variety of electives, including health, study skills, art, and hands-on STEM experiences. Electives are offered based on teacher availability and student interest and may change from year to year; however, we work hard to maintain popular options that our Middle School students love.
Athletics are also a key part of life at Bracken, helping students develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits through both competitive and recreational sports programs.
Middle School students participate in four Service Days each year, where they venture out into the community to build relationships with local businesses and help people in need. These experiences teach students to care for others, serve with humility, and love the campus and community they are a part of every day. Service Days are a campus favorite, giving students the joy of serving others as Christ serves us. Students gather weekly for worship, spiritual growth, and community building.
At the start of the school year, all Middle School students take part in Middle School Retreat—a full-day event dedicated to team-building and relationship growth. It’s a day spent outside the classroom where students build friendships, strengthen connections, and deepen their relationship with God—creating a strong foundation for their Middle School journey.
Athletics at Bracken Christian go beyond the scoreboard—instilling values and spirit that define our Middle School Warrior Nation. Through ISAL and STFC (football) competition, our student-athletes are encouraged to grow, give their best, and glorify God in every practice, game, and season.
At Bracken Christian, our coaches care about more than just wins and losses—they care about you. They get to know each athlete and help you grow not only in your sport, but also in your faith, character, and confidence.
In Middle School athletics, you’ll learn what it means to be a Warrior: working hard, being part of a team, showing leadership, and never giving up. Sports here are about building skills that last a lifetime—on the court, on the field, and in life. With every practice and game, you’ll discover how to play with heart, honor God, and become the best version of yourself.
