Helping middle school students understand God's will and purpose for their lives and their place at Bracken will help build a solid foundation to build upon in later years.
To help fulfill this goal, Bracken Middle School offers a solid academic program supplemented with a variety of electives. Achievement testing takes place every other year. Students continue learning basic skills and in addition learn study skills and habits necessary for a more rigorous academic work in high school. Conscious of the spiritual capacity of middle school students, all subjects are taught from a Christian perspective. In addition, they attend weekly Chapel, have daily Bible Class and daily devotions every morning (except on Chapel days).
Also, beginning in the 6th grade, middle school students can compete in Basketball, Cheerleading, Cross-Country, Football, Golf, Tennis, Track & Field, or Volleyball.
