Bracken Christian School

Response to COVID-19

We are very excited to announce that Bracken Christian School will be meeting in-person, on-campus beginning August 19—our first scheduled day of the 2020-21 school year!  We will be following recommended health guidelines to ensure the safest possible environment for our students, families, faculty, and staff. While remote learning is a good alternative, we all enjoy being together for the total school experience. We are more excited than ever about continuing our mission to equip our students to impact their culture for Christ!

We recognize that some families may not feel it is safe to return to on-campus learning at this time.  If your family would like to discuss remote learning as an option for one or all of your children, please contact us.  We will be happy to discuss options and the best plan for your family.  Our desire is to create the best possible learning environment for each family in our community.

We would like to encourage both currently enrolled families and families considering Bracken Christian School to read through the Re-Opening plan.  Any questions or concerns should be directed to

RELEASE DATE:  7/19/2020

At BCS, we are committed to a safe and complete return to school on August 19, 2020, and we are preparing for full in-person instruction.  We have been monitoring the spread of the virus in Comal County and have created a plan that is reasonable and appropriate to do our part to stay healthy and return to life as close to normal as possible.  The plans set forth are subject to change depending on future developments, but the following will allow us to return to the community we so deeply love and value. We have identified nine categories that will assist in our safe return to operations.
