school year.  It seems like yesterday we were trying to get the gym air-conditioners up and running and here it is the last quarter of the year.  Throughout this year, God has continued to mold and shape this school into something unique and acceptable to Him.  There have been some setbacks, and there have been some stumbles, but God's hand is still very much on this school.  We have an incredible faculty, a great student body, and a godly Board that is constantly seeking His direction for this school.  I feel honored to be part of this school and all that is going on here.
One of the most exciting things going on right now is the work of the various committees that were formed last October.  If you are not aware, the Board established seven separate committees in an effort to initiate work in areas that they felt the school needed some help.  These committees meet, put together ideas, and then make presentations to the Board during scheduled meetings.  Each committee works under the direction and authority of the Board and each has a chairperson that leads the committee.  Here is a list of the committees and their chairs:

I AM SURE every parent has now noticed the welcome change to our school marquee. A big thank you is due to Mr. Pete Sitterle owner of Comet Neon Signs. His company very generously refurbished our tired and battle weary marquee and gave it a fresh new face at no cost to Bracken. Contributions like Mr. Sitterle's are such a special blessing to our school. Please take the time to send him a thank you note and let him know how much we at Bracken
